Woolworths stores activated with QR code campaign

Banana Lab wanted a Christmas campaign that grabbed attention, explained their experiential gift concept, and drove sales across multiple platforms. The TVC needed to introduce their gift books as the perfect present for “everyone,” while creating adaptable content to support digital, social, and retail activations.

We created “Give the Gift of Experience” a campaign built around the idea that Banana Lab offers something for everyone. In our studio, we designed a custom living room set where actors “dived into” the world of experiences the gift book unlocks. This creative approach not only explained the product clearly but brought energy and storytelling to the forefront.From the set, we captured both the hero TV commercial and a suite of stills, ensuring assets could be used across digital campaigns, social media, and in-store promotions.

The campaign rolled out with a two-week prime-time TV run in the lead-up to Christmas, supported by a national morning TV advertorial that reached hundreds of thousands. Online, we extended the momentum through a “12 Days of Giveaways” social campaign, a Woolworths collaboration giveaway with QR entry in-store, plus a corresponding digital advertisement push to drive database growth. And finally a print advertising piece to hit the shoppers browsing the mags for present inspiration.
