Daniel founded Head On in 2011 and has led its evolution from video production company into a full-service creative powerhouse known for blending entertainment, strategy, and digital innovation to deliver work that performs. Leading the team with equal parts vision, creativity, and commercial focus, Daniel has helped pioneer video-first podcasting helping Spotify launch the first Australian video podcast on the platform. With 15+ years experience in production and creation, Daniel is hands-on in shaping the agency’s direction and output — pushing brands to think bigger, guiding the team to deliver measurable impact, and ensuring every idea ladders back to business outcomes. Brendan leads the design and technology arm of Head On, driving digital outcomes that look sharp and perform even better. With over 15 years’ experience across design, development, and digital architecture, he’s the bridge between creativity and code — translating complex challenges into seamless, high-performing solutions. Trusted by brands like Honda, 7-Eleven, Afterpay and Tobin Brothers, Brendan has become the go-to partner for ambitious digital projects. He leads all things web, design and technology — ensuring every site, system and experience is built with precision, performance, and purpose. A problem-solver at heart, Brendan brings a rare mix of creative intuition and technical depth — architecting the kind of digital solutions that don’t just work, they win. Brendan also has more coffee mugs than any person would ever need.

Sarah is our Project and Business Lead and a certified client superhero. She drives projects, strategy, and direction with laser focus on outcomes, ensuring every brief turns into something brilliant. A powerhouse of organisation and momentum, Sarah keeps the team moving and the work humming, balancing creativity with commercial clarity. Originally from France, she cut her teeth in Monaco working with some of the world’s biggest brands, bringing that same precision, polish, and pace to everything she does at Head On. Also known as our resident hospo queen, Sarah’s your go-to for restaurant recs, wine lists, and the best spots in town, because great work deserves great wine.

Louise is Head On’s digital Swiss Army knife, complete with a French twist. With a background in digital communication—spanning web, graphic design, animation, photography, and more—she’s a designer turned strategic powerhouse. Since joining in 2020, she’s worked on countless digital projects, with a sharp focus on web projects. Her eye for detail is unmatched, earning her a reputation as the unofficial QA gatekeeper at Head On. A creative at heart and a strategist in practice, Louise brings big-picture thinking and pixel-perfect execution served with French efficiency and the occasional well-timed reality check.

Ainsley Benson
Forget the roman empire, Ainsley's always thinking of the sistine chapel a.k.a the big picture. She is the social butterfly of departments, working closely with our whole team. With six years’ experience in FMCG and packaging, she has built brands from inception, uncovered white space in crowded markets, and partnered with global names like Disney, Woolworths, and Coles. Her strengths lie within creative thinking, branding and packaging but don’t end there. She has a secret knack for cutting together viral videos, and animating quick content. She’s a rare mix of thinker and maker, strategist and storyteller and the creative tap in the office.

Social Media Marketing Specialist and certified caption queen. With a background in journalism, and by-lines in print and digital magazines, Stamatina has a thing for turning strategy into scroll-stopping content, and keeps our social calendars humming, shoots running smoothly, and client comms on point. Originally from sunny Brisbane, she brings big energy and even bigger smiles to the office daily. Just don’t judge her if she shows up in summer gear mid-winter, Melbourne’s weather is still a work in progress.

The Origins.
We started Head On to do things differently
Brendan and Dan’s paths first crossed when they shared an office, each running their own business. Brendan’s Human Studio was focused on design and web development, driven by his people-first approach. Dan, on the other hand, ran Head On Media, a marketing and content agency.
It quickly became clear that they complemented each other’s strengths. Brendan’s creativity and Dan’s strategic mindset were the perfect balance. The more they worked together, the more they realised their combined approach could achieve even greater results.
The Head On Agency we know today is the result of their shared vision. Now, they continue to blend creativity and strategy to help clients navigate the fast-paced digital landscape.
